I think it is lovely when a photograph can catch a person's physical beauty as well as show some of their inner qualities. Everything can't come through, of course, but, this is very special as it shows some of your softness, your kindness, your giving nature and deep love of life. I can see love for other beings and the kind of generosity that doesn't shout 'look what I've done' but goes quietly among her fellow earth-mates doing it - with joy. It is the joy that is the most easy to see. I would have seen that in the picture even if I didn't know you. Knowing you lets me know that what I see is true. A beautiful woman, inside-outside and outside-beyond … beyond your own surface, that which reaches into the world with kindness and giving is here to see as well.

I’d like to explain to you that Nicole hasn’t sent you those notifications that you received. Gaia sends those notifications when someone else has posted something on the same photo, blog, etc. that you have. You can keep this from happening, if you’d like: Click on “Settings” (at the bottom of your “Me” menu, above “Log Out”) and then choose “Comments” under “Subscriptions and Notifications.” Under this, you’ll see that you have the option to set what kind of notification you receive about comments on blogs you’ve commented on, and also on photos you’ve commented on. You can set these notifications to “individually,” “daily digest” or “never send.” I’ll send this to you individually as well, to make sure that you see it. Love, MamaSue
